Rabid Dog Blade is the Rabid variant of the Dog Blade sword. It is not a second, unrelated sword, even though it has a separate item listing and appearance.

How it differs

The Rabid version is a white visual variant of Dog Blade. Community-maintained item documentation also reports a difference in how Tantrum Mode behaves with this skin. Since game mechanics can change, check the current move description in game before relying on that distinction.

Event source

The Rabid version was one of the possible Love Letter rewards during the Dog House event. That event route is not currently active as of September 30, 2026. Compare the base Dog Blade and Rabid variant by their exact names when checking a trade.
